Our shoot with Rosie Emerson for the CD Cover of ‘Believe The Machine’ was done yesterday. Amazing day working with some extremely talented and lovely people. Here’s a couple of sneak-preview images! This CD really is going to be a piece of Art.

Album Out – Sunday April 1st 2012

Our brand spanking new album, Believe The Machine, is out next weekend. This one is going to be the digital release, but you will be able to pre-order the limited CD run at the same time (complete with cover artwork from one of our favourite artists, Rosie Emerson).

What’s it like? 14 Tracks, Electronics, Acoustics, lots of vocals, it should bring you down, pick you up, & maybe spin you round. Please, watch this space – there’s so much more to come… oh, and we’re starting our new EP next week, and getting ready for a few gigs .

As of this afternoon, the album mixing is complete, it’s all been sent off for mastering, there are artists sending in their visual creations for us (they’re wonderful people), and there are two videos almost ready for release, so keep your eyes peeled this weekend for some more announcements and perhaps a release or two.

Albums, Arts and Antics – We’re spinning with it…

As you can see from the front page, the new video for “I Send You All My Love” is out, and we’re continuing to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. If you’d like to donate, please pop over to our JustGiving page and drop them a couple of quid. If you’ve seen the video, you’ll know the general idea, and you can expect to see those costumes appearing at the Childwickbury Arts Fair, this summer, the first weekend of July.

So stick that you diary.

It’s nearly there – an album on your doorstep very soon…

Shake your heads and pinch yourself – yes, it’s true. We have nigh on completed our album! The recording is done, the mixing almost finished, and the mastering has begun. There are also three more videos on the way (keep your eyes hugely peeled) – the first of which will be released in early February… If you’d like a little preview, see our last post (or our Facebook Page).

Although there’s going to be a complete digital release, we are also planning a short run of physical copies to begin with, so if you’d like to be sure of bagging one of those, do message us either on Facebook or on our Twitter feed (or in the comments below).

Anyway, soon you’ll be able to see Artwork, Lyrics and listen to some music on this site, and from now on we’ll be able to stay up to date a little more easily – we’re not quite so buried in the studio .

Autumn Antics – filming, recording, filming…

So, in the past month and a half, we have journeyed from the mountains and valleys of Clwyd, to the shores of Brighton, back to the streets of London in a quest to film shots for three new music videos with Villains on Film and their various collaborators. And we think we’ve had a fair amount of success.

We can’t show you much before the final products are done, but what we have done is sneak away a few previews for the site. As you might notice, they’re ‘slightly’ censored… you’ll just have to wait for the real thing to see the whole picture :-p.

There are also a couple of sneak-peek ‘censored’ videos on our Facebook Page, so feel free to have a look at those as well.

On the music front, things are coming along really quickly, and expect some previews up here soon. We’re coming up to the start of our final studio sessions next week, so as far as that goes, watch this space!

Bitch of a Glitch is out there!

Hello all!

The video for ‘Bitch of a Glitch‘ is finally out there on the interwebs. Thanks to Villains on Film and the whole team who worked with us on it. You guys are mighty, mighty special.

Work continues on the new album, and perhaps a couple of other sneak releases on the side, so we’re keeping busy. Feel free to drop us a comment either here or over on Facebook if you’d like to, and if you like the video, we’d be honoured if you’d share it around . You can do that directly from the YouTube page, or on Facebook.

We’re really proud of this one, but you just wait, there’s more in the pipeline! We hope to get some new music up on this page in the next couple of weeks, but we’re sure you’ll understand that that’s still all work in progress. Here we go!
